This Spring, from Feb 18 - March 29, our community will be one of many cities worldwide joining together for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history -- the 40 Days for Life campaign.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

* 40 days of prayer and fasting
* 40 days of peaceful vigil
* 40 days of community outreach

We are praying that, with Go

d's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city, throughout America and beyond. While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion clinic or Planned Parenthood facility. In Marietta, our prayer vigil will take place on the sidewalk in front of Governor's Ridge Office Park on Powers Ferry Rd. between Terrell Mill and Windy Hill Roads from 6am to 9pm. See our website or inbox us to sign up for the vigil and/or get more info. (Most people sign up for one hour a week during the 40 Days. This is totally flexible. Please contact us for more info.) We are praying for: all parents facing an unexpected or difficult pregnancy, that they will find the help & support they need; that networks of support in the community will increase for pregnant moms; that the hearts and minds of all those in the abortion industry will change; that society will no longer look to abortion as a way to handle unexpected or difficult pregnancies; and for healing for all those who have had abortions or had a part in someone else's abortion - that they may come to know God's amazing mercy. On December 15, 16 and 18, Pro-Life Action League "Peace in the Womb" Caroling events will take place in five locations across Georgia -- Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Lawrenceville & Marietta. (Information below) ---- You are invited to come and share the peace of Christmas in hopes that the message of Christ's birth will change hearts and minds. This will have a spirit of prayer, not a protest. Families are encouraged to attend with their children.
