The U.S. House has passed legislation delaying new federal restrictions on hemp-derived THC products from November until December 11

The bill has already cleared the Senate and now heads to President Trump’s desk for his signature. The delay gives lawmakers about one additional month to consider regulations as an alternative to a nationwide ban

Today, the Tarrant County Commissioners Court will consider a proposal that would reduce the number of Election Day polling locations from 316 to 224, a roughly 30% reduction, instead of the ~50% reduction that hundreds of Tarrant County residents spoke out against last month.

This proposal being less drastic than the last one doesn’t make it acceptable.

I stand with the people of my district, and I urge the Court to reject this proposal.
