🎓 Today we celebrated the graduation of Leadership Mansfield Class 16, and what a special day it was!

We are so grateful to everyone who came out to support and celebrate our graduates today. Thank you to the sponsors who generously provided meals and support throughout the year, helping make this experience possible for our class members.

Most of all, we are grateful for the incredible individuals who made Class 16 so sweet. This class brought heart, service, leadership, and community to every single day together.

During today’s program, class member Charles Brady reflected on the importance of working together as a community rather than viewing one another as competition — a theme that truly represented this class all year long. Class member Jennifer Kurecka also shared about the importance of being present, engaged, and involved in the details of the community around us instead of simply living in it.

A special thank you to our Keynote Speaker Mansfield ISD Superintendent Dr. Tiffany Spencer for challenging and encouraging our class members. Your leadership and investment in our community are deeply appreciated.

Leadership Mansfield Class 16 wrapped up an incredible year together today, and what a meaningful way to end our journey.

A huge thank you to Mary Elizabeth Phillips for leading the class through a final art project that beautifully reflected everything this group has built over the past several months.

One class member said it best:
“Working on the community project earlier in the year felt different because we were just getting to know one another. Today, the project came together faster because we know each other—how to communicate, understand strengths and weaknesses, and work together.”

And it showed.

What stood out most wasn’t just the finished project, but the way it came together. At one point, a class member turned to another and asked for specific help—because he knew she had the exact skills needed. That kind of awareness, trust, and collaboration doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built through shared experiences, conversations, and a willingness to grow together.

Class 16, you’ve done exactly that.

Today was more than an activity—it was a reflection of leadership in action. We’re so proud of this class and the way you’ve supported, challenged, and strengthened one another along the way. The impact you’ll continue to make in our community is just beginning.
