Recently purchased by the City of Mansfield, the theater is undergoing a transformation and revitalization. An intimate, 158-seat venue in historic downtown Mansfield, the Farr Best hosts movies, shows, and a variety of community events. It was built in 1917, and still retains much of the original historic charm.

🤔 How do our grants and scholarships help our recipients?

📚 Lita Cruz is an aspiring art therapist pursuing her Masters Degree in Art Therapy at PennWest Global and one of our recent scholarship recipients. Her goal is to share the ways art can serve as a meaningful form of self-expression and connection, ultimately aiming to make a positive impact within her community.

In her testimonial, Lita stated the following:

😊 As our UnBounded exhibition comes to an end, we’re grateful to all of the art enthusiasts, artists, and staff who made this show possible.

✨ From our opening reception until the final day, the Wallace-Hall Art House welcomed a variety of guests and supporters. Insightful conversations and engaging art fostered a deep passion for the arts within our art house. Without our local creatives and patrons, we would not be able to have such a rich arts community here in Mansfield.

🎃 With over 50 pieces on display across a variety of mediums, there was a staggering amount of art & submissions in this exhibition. Stay tuned for our Halloween haunted house installation at the art house!

Learn about the wayward spirit of little Eleanor and her tale as you traverse with her through the house. Discover her secrets and how she became the playful haunt of Wallace-Howl.

🎃 Portions of the Wallace-Hall Art House will be temporarily closed for installation across the entire first floor of the house in preparation for this immersive exhibit.

Recommended for ages 8 years old upward.
