Matthew 9:36-38, NIV:

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.'"

The purpose of the Lloyd E. Meyer Foundation (“Foundation”) is to sponsor and support those who are called to go into the various parts of the world to harvest and to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Lloyd E. Meyer Foundation aligns with the biblical mandate known as the Great Commission, where Jesus instructed His followers to go and make disciples of all nations Matthew 28:19-20.
It is the purpose of the Foundation to provide financial, logistical, and emotional support to enable those who are called to carry out their mission work.

It's not uncommon to feel like more could be done, but it's essential to recognize and celebrate the positive impact that has already been achieved. World Harvest Baptist Missions is an organization the Lloyd E. Meyer Foundation has sent support to the last few years.

The mission of World Harvest is to "Preach the Gospel, lead souls to Christ, plant churches, train young pastors, and put the Holy Bible in the hands of everyone we (they) come into contact with."

Support for missions can make a significant impact on communities and individuals in need. It's heartening to hear about the Lloyd E. Meyer Foundation's commitment to supporting World Harvest Baptist Missions in honor of Lloyd Meyer's values and beliefs. The decision to provide sustained support over the last few years suggests a dedication to making a positive impact in alignment with the Foundation’s goals.

On behalf of the Lloyd Meyer Foundation, I had the opportunity to attend Antioch Baptist Church last Sunday and hearing Pastor Van Zandt preach. What a blessing it was and what a very sweet family. They are truly an example of what it looks like to live by faith. This family will be holding a very special place in my heart. Looking forward to attending another service very soon. May God continue to bless this family and Antioch Baptist Church as they grow their congregation.
