🏆 Thank You, Association of Subcontractors of America – North Texas Chapter! 🏆

We are honored and grateful to have been recognized at the recent Annual Awards Night hosted by the Association of Subcontractors of America – North Texas Chapter.

HIM Food Bank was humbled to be one of only seven nonprofit organizations selected for support this year, and we are thankful to stand alongside so many organizations making a difference in our communities.

This generous grant will be used to provide healthy groceries to students who need additional support at home through our high school student grocery programs. Access to nutritious food helps students focus on learning, participate in school activities, and continue moving forward toward a brighter future.

We are grateful to the ASA North Texas members for their investment in the next generation and for recognizing the importance of supporting students and families across our region.

Thank you for your generosity, your partnership, and your commitment to building stronger communities.

Because together, we provide more than food — we help create a way forward.

👔 Happy Father’s Day!

Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who work hard, lead by example, and invest in the lives of those they love.

At HIM Food Bank, we have the privilege of serving many fathers who are doing everything they can to provide for their families. We also see fathers who volunteer, fathers who donate, and fathers who quietly step in to help others when they can.

Strong families are built through love, sacrifice, guidance, and perseverance—qualities we see reflected in fathers throughout our community every day.

Today, we honor the men who encourage, protect, teach, and inspire the next generation.

Thank you for the difference you make in the lives of your families and in our community.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at HIM Food Bank.

🌟Thank You, Mansfield Women’s Club! 🌟

We are incredibly grateful to the Mansfield Women’s Club for their faithful support of HIM Food Bank and for awarding a grant to help strengthen our community.

Their partnership extends far beyond financial support. Throughout the year, members of the Mansfield Women’s Club volunteer their time, share their talents, and invest in the mission of helping families and students build a brighter future.

This grant will help provide healthy groceries for local families working toward stability and independence, while also supporting students participating in our Grub Hubs Markets, ensuring they have access to nutritious food throughout the school year and into the summer.

Partnerships like this create lasting impact. They provide more than food—they help create opportunities, strengthen families, and offer a way forward for those facing difficult seasons.

Thank you, Mansfield Women’s Club, for your generosity, your leadership, and your unwavering commitment to the families and students of our community. We are honored to serve alongside you.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of joining fellow Texas Health Community Hope grantees from across Tarrant County for a day of learning, collaboration, and encouragement.

It was inspiring to be surrounded by organizations that are tackling some of our community’s most pressing health challenges through innovation, compassion, and practical solutions.

Through our Wellness On Wheels (WOW) initiative, HIM Food Bank is working alongside incredible partners to help individuals and families improve their health by increasing access to healthy groceries, wellness education, health screenings, and resources that support long-term self-sufficiency.

What stood out most was the shared commitment in the room. While each organization serves in different ways, we are united by one goal: helping people live healthier, stronger lives.

We are grateful to Texas Health for investing not only funding, but also expertise, leadership, and ongoing support that empowers nonprofits to create meaningful and lasting impact.

Together, we are proving that when communities collaborate, real change happens.

đź’™ Better Health.
🥕 Healthy Groceries.
🤝 Strong Partnerships.
➡️ A Way Forward.

🩺 Thank You, Texas Tech Nursing Students! ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the dedicated Texas Tech University nursing students who continue to serve alongside us through our Wellness On Wheels (WOW) program.

At each WOW event, these future healthcare professionals provide blood pressure screenings, A1C testing, wellness education, and encouragement to community members seeking to improve their health.

Their compassion, professionalism, and commitment to serving others help make wellness more accessible for the families and individuals we serve.

Because of volunteers like these students, WOW participants are not only receiving healthy groceries, but also valuable health information that can help them take meaningful steps toward better health and long-term stability.

We are proud to partner with Texas Tech and thankful for the knowledge, care, and servant leadership these students bring to every event.

Thank you for helping us provide more than food — a way forward.

Partnerships like these lead to collaboration that creates impact not just for today, but for generations to come.

We were grateful to welcome our friends from Central Storehouse for a meaningful conversation about future opportunities to work together and strengthen the communities we both serve.

When organizations come together with a shared mission, the result is greater reach, stronger support systems, and healthier futures for families across our region.

At HIM Food Bank, we believe healthy groceries are more than temporary assistance — they create stability, dignity, and a way forward for individuals and families working toward a better future.

Thank you, Jon and the Central Storehouse team, for your partnership, leadership, and heart for serving others. We are excited about what may lie ahead together.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day

Today we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

At HIM Food Bank, we are honored to serve veterans within our community — through our food bank, our partner pantries, and alongside veterans who faithfully volunteer and continue serving others even after their military service.

Memorial Day reminds us not only to remember those we lost, but also to care well for those who have served.

We remember with gratitude.
We honor with respect.

🏡 Thank You, One West Real Estate & Minter Mortgage! 🏡

We are incredibly grateful to One West Real Estate, led by Angela Hornburg, Broker and Team Leader, along with our friends from Minter Mortgage, for spending the day serving alongside us at HIM Food Bank.

This outstanding volunteer team brought energy, compassion, teamwork, and a true servant’s heart to everything they accomplished. Together, they helped prepare 235 grocery bags and packed 728 pounds of oats that will help nourish families and individuals across North Texas and throughout our partner pantry network.

In just one day of service, their volunteer efforts created an estimated community impact of more than $7,700, helping provide approximately 350 meals and supporting nearly 750 people in need.

What stood out most was the heart behind their service. When local businesses choose to invest not only financially, but also through their time and people, the impact reaches far beyond a single volunteer day. It strengthens families, encourages communities, and reminds people they are not alone.

Because what we provide is more than food — it’s a way forward.

Thank you, One West Real Estate and Minter Mortgage, for your partnership, generosity, and commitment to helping strengthen families across North Texas.

📦 Thank You, Amazon Volunteers! 📦

We are grateful for our continued partnership with our local Amazon warehouse team, whose volunteers faithfully return each year to serve alongside us at HIM Food Bank.

This year, their team joined us on two different days in two separate volunteer groups, bringing incredible energy, teamwork, and a willingness to jump in wherever help was needed. Their efforts helped prepare healthy groceries that will support families across our community and throughout our partner pantry network.

Partnerships like this matter. When businesses invest their time and people into the community, the impact reaches far beyond a single day of service.

At HIM Food Bank, we believe healthy groceries provide more than temporary relief — they create stability, dignity, and ultimately the opportunity for transformed lives.

Thank you, Amazon volunteers, for continuing to stand with us in this mission and for helping strengthen families across North Texas.
