Sometimes, there's rooms you just aren't allowed inside. These mystery and off limits rooms keep you in a chokehold of fascination and intrigue.
And then, Sometimes, one of your caretakers goes IN to said room....and doesn't tell you WHY.
And even worse.. they DONT INVITE YOU IN!

A HUGE thank you to Joe Mathewson for doing a beautiful job finishing up our cat beds!
LIV apartments cut and assembled the PVC pipe base but we had difficulty doing the bed itself.
Joe rescued us with his knowledge, kindness and professionalism.

Seven has asked me to make a post to let you know that its not true all cats hate tummy rubs...
She feels this is a necessary post, and is aware some cats have exhibited dreadful behavior upon having their tummy even touched.
In order to prevent this sort of behavior, Seven is suggesting you send any tummy rubs intended for any other feline her way.
She even likes getting her tummy scritched AND scratched.

Meet Birdie, seen here doing a fantastic Blep at her recent check up.
Miss Birdie came to Litte Rascals one winter following a tip about a cat living outside and surviving on birdseed. We trapped, and then named her Birdie for obvious reasons. Due to the fact she is feral, we became her permanent home.
When she 1st came to us she did not eat very well so we mixed bird seed in with cat food to encourage her to eat. The idea worked well, and gradually we decreased the bird seed and fed her soley cat food.
Despite having been with us for some time Birdie is still quite fearful so when she goes to the vet she wears a kitty cozy. Like a burrito 🌯.....or a Purrito.

Cuteness Overload Forthcoming!!

These three little kittens had the adventure of a lifetime last week.
Formerly residents of a campground in Standish Michign, these venturesome fluffballs climbed up into the chassis of a 43 foot motorhome and caught a 2.5 hour ride to Manistee!
Thankfully the motorhome was owned by the very compassionate Jeff and Paige who contacted Little Rascals for help regarding the little meows coming from their RV.
Upon getting the call a Little Rascals rep went straight to their current campground and spent the day with Jeff trying to catch the kittens. A good part of the day was spent watching the kittens run in and out of the traps but not tripping them due to their lack of weight.
By 10:30 Sunday night two of the three kittens were safe and relaxing with a full tummy at LR.
The following morning the 3rd kitten was caught by Jeff with the help of an improvised net and the trap.
Since Little Rascals does not have a facility for kittens, Homeward Bound Animal Shelter graciously took them and will prepare them for adoption.
