Manistee Area Public Schools (MAPS) is in the process of selling the children’s parkland at Jefferson Elementary school. Before the May 5, 2021 bond passed voters trusted MAPS. Voters were led to believe a park would replace Jefferson Elementary school. After the bond passed MAPS openly and aggressively promoted a housing project instead of green space. Your help is needed. Together we can save the neighborhood children’s park. Please send this post to everyone on Facebook.
