To show just how much we love you, we’re digging up some throwback photos of Ghost Ship from about 10 years ago. Thank you for your incredible support over the years, and for making last year our best yet. We’re gearing up to break even more records this year and deliver the best show we’ve ever done.

👻🚢 ParaNight is BACK in 2026!

We’re thrilled to announce the return of ParaNight, a paranormal investigation onboard the S.S. City of Milwaukee, with TWO unforgettable nights in 2026:
Friday, May 22nd and Saturday, September 5th.

Dinner is included, and overnight rooms are available, if you’re brave enough to spend the night onboard that is! All proceeds directly benefit the preservation of the S.S. City of Milwaukee. Join us for a night of history, mystery, and the paranormal.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last year and made the event such a massive success, as we sold out in just a few days! Tickets will go fast again, so don’t wait to secure yours. A special thank-you to Bill and Connie Jones of GRASPP for once again volunteering to host this unique experience.

👻🚢And just like that, our 25th year of fear has come to a close!

Thank you to everyone who has made, and continues to make Manistee’s Ghost Ship possible. To our incredible volunteers (pictured or not), our generous sponsors, and of course, every victim who came aboard. This has been our most successful year yet, and it’s all because of you!

As a reminder, Manistee’s Ghost Ship is a fundraising event hosted by the Society for the Preservation of the S.S. City of Milwaukee, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that owns, operates, and preserves the S.S. City of Milwaukee as a museum and National Historic Landmark. Ghost Ship is our largest annual fundraiser, helping to support year-round activities like historic tours, overnight “boatel” stays, our gift shop, and private events.

The S.S. City of Milwaukee, built in 1931 and proudly docked in Manistee since 2000, is the last surviving ship of her kind. Your support helps us preserve not only local and state history, but a true piece of America’s maritime history.

Thank you again for 25 incredible years. We’ll scare ya next year!

We’re not done yet! There are still TWO full nights of Ghost Ship left! Friday & Saturday, (10/31 & 11/1), 7:30–10:30 PM!

But first… tonight is our Scaredy Pants Night!
From 3:00–6:15 PM, Lights on, scares off!
A fun, less-intense walkthrough of the ship perfect for kids (and grown-ups who need a break from the terror). Admission just $5/person.
Then at 7:30 PM, the ghouls return and we’re back to full fright mode for another haunting night aboard Manistee's Ghost Ship!

We’re OPEN RAIN OR SHINE, so grab your friends and don’t miss your final chance to experience our best show yet!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our 25th Year of Fear! 25 on the 25th! 👻🚢

A special thanks to:
Working On Famous: for rocking the ship all night long!
TC Taco: for serving up the best tacos around!
And most importantly, our amazing volunteers. NONE of this would be possible without them.

Every dollar raised helps support the preservation of the S.S. City of Milwaukee, a National Historic Landmark.

But the season isn’t over yet!! We still have 3 NIGHTS LEFT of terror!
TONIGHT: Sunday, Oct. 26: 7:30–10:00 PM
Friday, Oct. 31 (Halloween): 7:30–10:30 PM
Saturday, Nov. 1: 7:30–10:30 PM

And don’t forget! On Halloween (Oct. 31) we’ll host our Kid’s/Scaredy Pants Night from 3:00–6:15 PM. Lights on, scares off, for a fun, less intense walkthrough of the ship! But at 7:30 PM, the ghouls return in full force, and it’s back to a regular night of Ghost Ship.
