Most of the snow is gone ( for now) and with that the winter long debris from wind and weather is easier to see. If you’re out enjoying Lake Bluff feel free to help us out by removing dead limbs etc. from the grassy areas and into the woods or over the bluff to help stabilize the banks. Final day of February 2026! Most of the snow is gone and the parking lot is open. Great time to come visit and check things out in advance of spring and the increased activity. If spring cooperates we should have facilities open completely by beginning of April.

Sunshine, plowed driveway and improved ability to park. Come on out and enjoy the weather.

A little break in the weather. Fairly easy to drive into the lot and take the short hike up the drive to see the sequoias resting for the winter.

Winter came early and hard at Lake Bluff Farms! Visits go way down during the winter and we typically don’t want to incur the cost of driveway and parking lot snow clearing. We’re open 365 days a year but to foot traffic only for now. Our public bathroom is closed until spring and no on site parking until snow melts. It’s beautiful in the winter just takes a little more effort to enjoy it. Thanks for supporting Lake Bluff Farms. ☃️🌬️🎄🎄
