🚒 Upcoming Live Fire Training Exercise Notice 🚒

The Manchester Volunteer Fire Department (MVFD) will be conducting live fire training exercises on May 31, 2026, in the 4200 block of Wine Road. Training is scheduled to begin at approximately 8:00am and conclude by 4:00pm

This hands-on training is critical for our firefighters, allowing them to practice essential firefighting, search, and rescue skills in realistic—yet carefully controlled—conditions. These exercises ensure our team remains prepared to protect and serve our community safely and effectively.

As our department will be operating in your neighborhood for the day, we are committed to minimizing any disruption to residents.

What to expect:

-Fire apparatus and personnel in the 4100–4200 block of Wine Road. -Intermittent smoke throughout the day.
-The structure will be safely burned to the ground as part of the training.
-No anticipated traffic disruptions.
-Once training is complete, all hazards will be properly secured, and the site will be left safe.
