Heroes on the Water helps Veterans, First Responders and their families to relax, and rehabilitate through kayak fishing. We offer both scheduled and ad hoc kayak fishing opportunities at no cost. We provide all the equipment you will need. It's Free!!!!!

Our next event is coming up on Saturday, August 23 at beautiful Piney Run Park.

If you are a Veteran or Active Duty military or First Responder, we would love to take you and family kayak fishing. We provide the tackle and kayaks and lunch. All you have to do is sign up and show up.

We can also always use volunteers both on shore and on the water. You don’t need to be a veteran or first responder or an expert paddler or fisherman. All you need is your own kayak and a desire to help our heroes have a great time on the water.
