The North Carroll Business Alliance is a continued growth and expansion of the Manchester Area Merchants. All are welcome to join.

It's purpose is to promote the growth of the business community and support Manchester and surrounding areas.

On May 5th (Cinco de Mayo), the NCBA is having a 15% Donation Day. If you bring in a copy of this flyer to Greenmount Station, fifteen percent of everything you spend (dine-in or takeout) will be donated to the NCBA College Scholarship Fund!

For those of you who don't know, every year the NCBA gives out a number of $1000 scholarships for deserving graduating seniors in the Manchester area.

Why not have a great meal and help out a needy high school senior in the process?

Meadow sold out a show a few years back at the restaurant and no doubt guests will enjoy her, the act is so unique!

Greenmount Dinner Show host Mr. Dave Thomen - D's Magic is providing a 10% discount with a tix order of 10 or more seats. First come, first serve, as there can only take one or two orders of this size.

Today, the NCBA held our monthly meeting over at Greenmount Station! Along with a great presentation by Heather Kuykendall, the Facilities Manager for the Carroll County Ag Center & Shipley Arena, the members were entertained by Dave Thomen of D's Magic.

This past Thursday, State Senator Justin Ready spoke about the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project in front of a packed house at the Dutch Corner Restaurant. He took time to dispel a number of rumors about the project and explained exactly what the process to approve or reject the project will be. He also offered a plan of attack for the community to have their voices heard and possibly have the project scaled back, moved to other areas, or at least slowed down to the point where they choose other, less destructive options.

Last evening, we had our first Happy Hour of the year at Pipe The Side Brewing Company! Excellent beer and great conversation! Thank you to everyone who showed up. We will definitely do it again!

The Manchester Area Merchants Association was founded to give businesses a united voice when it came to local and county government decisions impacting the business community, and by extension the community at large. Funds generated through group actives are used for the group’s continued development and donated back to the community to benefit local school students the community.

M.A.M.A. is proud to continue its longtime tradition of awarding two $1,000 scholarships each year to Manchester Valley High School Students.
