Dear GSD,
One game doesn’t define a season. A season is defined by everything that came before it & everything you chose to become along the way.
I had a front-row seat this season. I watched friendships grow, players step into new positions, challenges get faced head-on, & the moments when you chose to come back stronger.
It was an honor to stand on your sideline each week. To be there for the wins, the tough moments, the celebrations, the frustrations, & everything in between. I wouldn’t trade that view for anything.
There were hundreds of Sour Patch Straws purchased & somehow consumed throughout the season. I’m still not entirely sure where they all went, but clearly they were an important part of the game plan. 😂
To our fans, you deserve a HUGE thank you, too. The love & support you showed this team never went unnoticed. You traveled, you cheered, you brought the cowbell, & you made sure our guys knew they were never standing alone.
I’m so incredibly proud of you. I’ll continue to defend you, stand beside you, annoy you, nag & cheer for you, no matter what the scoreboard says.
