Today is a beautiful day at Big Heart Ranch as we celebrate Luna’s incredible journey!
Before Luna was born, her mother was pregnant and scheduled to be slaughtered. Because compassionate people stepped in, she was rescued, and Luna entered the world safe, loved, and surrounded by hope At Big Heart Ranch.
Now, at just 9 months old, Luna has reached an exciting milestone! She’s officially started horse nursery school in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. There she’ll run with other foals, build confidence, learn healthy herd behavior, and simply enjoy being a horse.
It’s exactly the life every rescued animal deserves. This is why we rescue. Saving a life is only the beginning. Helping that life grow, heal, and thrive is the promise we make every day.
As Luna begins this new chapter, we’re asking our Big Heart Ranch family to help provide her ongoing care, including board, quality feed, veterinary care, vaccinations, and hoof care. Every gift—whether $10, $25, $50, $100, or any amount—helps ensure Luna continues the journey so many of you made possible
✨The link to donate is in our bio! ✨
As a special thank-you, everyone who donates $100 or more will receive our exclusive limited-edition Luna hat while supplies last—a meaningful reminder that you helped write the next chapter of her story.
Luna is more than a rescued foal. She is living proof of what love, hope, and community can accomplish together. Thank you for believing in second chances. Thank you for believing in Big Heart Ranch. Together, we’re not just rescuing lives—we’re creating futures ❤️🐴🫶🏻
