This Saturday, June 6, tune in to Wisconsin Public Radio at 12pm Central to hear our November 2025 production of the greatest love story in opera - Puccini's eternally young La Bohème.
Set to a ravishing score, Puccini’s classic opera tells of the lives, loves, and losses of a group of young artists in a Bohemian quarter of Paris. Listen and fall in love all over again!
Starring Renée Richardson, Terrence Chin-Loy, Emily Secor, Kyle White, Wm. Clay Thompson, Lifan Deng, Alex Taylor, and Ryan Nash. Conducted by John DeMain with the Madison Opera Chorus, Madison Youth Choirs, and Madison Symphony Orchestra.
This opera is sung in Italian and runs approximately 2 hours 40 minutes, including two intermissions that feature insightful intermission interviews with cast members and Maestro John DeMain, conducted by WPR’s Lori Skelton.
