If you have changed your name or place of residence between now and November 3rd, then you’ll need to update your voter information as well. You are able to do this by going to myvote.wi.gov.

Here you will want to click on “Update My Name and Address”. You will need to put it in the name associated with your previous voter information before you are able to change it to what is currently accurate.

As we have been given the right to vote, it is up to us to use it as often as we can to let our voices be heard. In order to do so, take the time when you can, to recheck your voter registration. Make sure that it is up to date with your current address and information so that you are able to participate in the upcoming election on November 3rd.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming General Election on November 3rd. Don’t let this seemingly far date sneak up on you. Now is the time to prepare. Start thinking about if you will be out of state or away from home and will need an absentee ballot, and where you’ll need to go for in-person voting.

Thank you to all of the volunteers, poll workers, and clerks that helped with yesterday’s Primary Election!

The Primary may be over, but that is not the end. The candidates who won yesterday will move forward to be put on the General Election ballot. Although the next election will be on November 3rd, now is still a good time to familiarize yourself with the candidates and their policies.
