We are offering free screenings of the movie UECK, which chronicles 90-year-old Bob Uecker’s final season behind the microphone, in La Crosse and Appleton this month. The movie reflects on Uecker’s his extraordinary journey from an unremarkable Major League player to a beloved comedian, Hall of Fame broadcaster, and enduring cultural icon. The free screenings will be held on: Wednesday, Oct. 21 – from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Marcus La Crosse Cinema, 2032 Ward Ave., La Crosse.
