💚 World Mental Health Day | October 10 💚

It’s okay not to be okay. You don’t have to face everything alone.

Behind every smile, there may be a struggle we cannot see. As members of a community, let’s make space for honest conversations, listen without judgment, and remind one another that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

For many in our Nepali community, living far from home can bring unique challenges: loneliness, cultural adjustment, family responsibilities, and the pressure to keep moving forward even when life feels overwhelming.

Today, NAFA encourages everyone to:
💚 Check in on a friend, family member, or neighbor.
💚 Listen with compassion instead of judgment.
💚 Reach out for support when you need it.
💚 Help create a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

You matter. Your feelings matter. Your mental health matters.

Let’s look after one another, not just today, but every day. A simple conversation, a little kindness, or a genuine check-in could make more of a difference than we realize.
