Great News for Bloomfield Teens!

Traveling Toys was delighted to attend the 2026 Bloomfield Community Fund Awards Ceremony, where we celebrated receiving a $1,000 grant from the Bloomfield Community Fund at Greater Hartford Gives Foundation.

This funding create a teen video game lending collection, with games selected by the library’s Teen Advisory Group, and expand teen programming.

Our goal is simple: bring more teens into the library and encourage them to keep coming back.

We know one way to get teens through the door is free food! The grant also supports refreshments for teen programs. Sometimes a snack is all it takes to bring teens in, and once they discover what the library has to offer, we hope they'll return.

Thank you to the Bloomfield Community Fund and our partners at the Bloomfield Public Library for investing in local teens and creating more opportunities for connection, community, and play!

Thanks to a generous $5,000 grant from Liberty Bank Foundation and a matching $5,000 contribution from Traveling Toys, Inc., Hartford Public Library will soon have even more opportunities for children, teens, and families to play, learn, and connect.

We're grateful to Liberty Bank Foundation for its generosity and to Hartford Public Library for its partnership and commitment to the community it serves.

Stay tuned for the 2027 opening celebration!
