Eye Examinations – Dr. Charles Stuhr, ACVO, Ophthalmologist – Fee $35 1 dog, $30 per additional dog.
The purpose of the OFA Eye Certification clinic is to rule out hereditary eye disease for future breeding. It is not intended to address known eye disease which requires more time and different equipment to evaluate. Examinations can be done without tattoo or microchip but can’t be registered. Minimum age for eye examinations is 7 weeks. Arrive 20 minutes prior to exam time to have eye drops administered.
Owner will need to supply registration number for AKC or other breed registry, date of birth, and copy of prior eye certification exam findings if other than normal.
DEADLINE FOR APPOINTMENTS: Monday, October 19. OFA forms will be mailed to your homes only if you register before the deadline.
Directions: I-95 to Exit 64. Go south on Rte. 145 (Horse Hill Rd.) for 0.2 miles. Turn right at stop sign onto Old Clinton Rd. (Rte 145). Go 0.8 miles, Clinton Veterinary Hospital is on the right, across from the Clinton Country Club.

Note: Curbside protocol will be observed, owners will drop their own dogs' eyes, and dogs will be brought into the building by club members only. Masks will be required.
