Supporting healthcare in rural Wisconsin is a top priority for WROF, Inc. Cienna who attends UW-Milwaukee is one of the many nursing students the WROF, Inc. is pleased to support through scholarships.

Cienna writes: "When I return to rural Wisconsin after graduation, I hope to be able to educate those in my community about the risks of heat illness, shock, sprains and fractures, concussions, and traumatic brain injuries when playing sports even in everyday life. Although athletics are entertaining and fun for kids, there are injuries that can occur especially in spring and summer sports like football, tennis, and soccer. These injuries are life altering if they aren't treated seriously."

We always get so excited when we receive thank you cards from our scholarship recipients and program support recipients!

Here's one from Roselynn, a high school student who attended Summer Science Camp at the Morgridge Institute for Research on the UW-Madison campus. These weeklong camps help rural Wisconsin students learn hands-on science and ignite their passion for science, technology, engineering and math.
