Wisconsin Society of Pharmacy Students (WSPS) is the umbrella professional student organization at the University of Wisconsin at Madison School of Pharmacy. We are proud to be affiliates of the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW), American Pharmacist Association (APhA), and the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists (ASHP). We are also closely linked with the UW Madison School of Pharmacy and t

he Pharmacy Alumni Association (PAA) of UW Madison. The goal of WSPS is to advance the profession of pharmacy. We advance the profession of pharmacy in many different ways, which makes WSPS a very multi-faceted organization. Our website provides much information on all of the different aspects of the profession of pharmacy that WSPS touches. See the many links to the right for information on a specific aspect of WSPS. In general, WSPS attempts to advance the profession of pharmacy by educating pharmacy students, educating the public, providing unique opportunities for pharmacy students, and providing services to the public that feature pharmacy students. Involvement in WSPS also provides many opportunities simply through associating with other pharmacy students within our UW-Madison and throughout the world. WSPS is thrilled to be taking home National Second-Runner Up for Operation Heart presented by CVS Health ❤️, as well as our Midyear Regional Meeting Awards for 2024-25 (OSUD, MedDrop, OTC Med Safety).

Personal Health Partner returns to Brittingham Apartments with Clearing the Air, with an extra trivia to spice up the learning! Along with Owen from Operation Airways, Jessica and Reese of PHP hosted a smoking cessation trivia for 15+ residents who were interested in stepping up their knowledge about smoking and quitting. The UW School of Pharmacy's organization, WSPS Operation Organ Donation Awareness is here to provide you with the tastiest treats! Miggy's Bakes is partnering with ODA to fundraise for the Restoring Hope Transplant House in Middleton, a non-profit home that provides transplant patients and families a place to stay and recover after a life changing transplant. WSPS is so grateful to the students, pharmacists, and event staff who made this night possible. Happy American Heart Month! ❤️🫀🫰
Thank you to all of our members who wore red to show support, and a massive thank you to our Operation Heart Co-Chairs, Lexi and Caitlin, who continually go above and beyond for raising awareness of cardiovascular disease. WSPS is so proud of the difference makers our students are.

We were also able to surprise our Policy Chairs with their own Good Government Awards at our Feb Meeting! ❤️

WSPS had a massive turn out for PSW Legislative Day, and we had a great time connecting with others in the profession and advocating for our patients. Until next year!

Each year, WSPS hosts Conference on Conferences, designed to simulate a professional pharmacy conference and help student pharmacists feel more confident and prepared to attend both state and national meetings.

Pharmacists from different practice sites across Wisconsin have volunteered their time to spend an evening with Student Pharmacists from Madison, MCW, and Concordia and serve as roundtable discussion facilitators. There will be complementary appetizers and a cash bar.

This mock conference environment helps break down barriers to attendance and teaches students how to maximize the value of conference experiences. Our theme this year is “Your Seat at the Table: Building Confidence, Connections, and Direction,” and we are extremely excited to be hosting Dr. Nicholas Olson as our Keynote Speaker for the night.

This year, Conference on Conferences will take place on: Friday, February 27th, 2026 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM. This event is open to all PharmD students, regardless of WSPS membership.

We hope to see you there.
