A Waukesha therapist is offering a free support group for parents who have experienced stillbirth or the death of a newborn, after seeing a rise in calls from area hospitals and grieving families. Isabelle and Charlie Bieser are among those parents. Read more at the link in the comments.

On this special day, help give bereaved moms the gift of time.

Being able to hold our baby girl, Alana Rose, for several days after she died was a priceless gift that I will forever be grateful for. However, not all families have access to a CuddleCot (or similar cooling system) and only have a few hours to capture a lifetime of memories with their precious baby. Each CuddleCot costs about $4000. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation in any amount to help support the purchase of a Cuddle Cot that will be donated to help give grieving families the gift of time!

As a result of previous fundraising efforts, we were able to help UnityPoint Health - Meriter (Madison’s largest birthing hospital) purchase a second CuddleCot and purchase a CuddleCot for Harambee Village: Pregnancy, Birth, and Breastfeeding Care. Having a CuddleCot will help them expand their community-based bereavement doula services.nd this helps families in dealing with their loss.”

Big news for babies, families, and donor milk advocacy 💛

The bipartisan Access to Donor Milk Act has officially been reintroduced in Congress, this is a major step toward expanding access to safe donor human milk for medically vulnerable infants nationwide.

This legislation would:
💛Support nonprofit milk banks during shortages
💙Expand donor milk awareness and education
💛Help improve access through WIC programs
💙Advance federal guidance for donor milk safety and distribution
