Edmonds Serves is a community-wide initiative that celebrates the people, organizations, and acts of service that strengthen our community. Edmonds is the first city in the nation to receive the designation of a “Community of Service” through the National Museum and Center for Service. Through storytelling, volunteer recognition, and community partnerships, Edmonds Serves highlights the many ways individuals make a difference across Edmonds. Katie is an amazing volunteer who pulls stock from our donated food inventory on Tuesday mornings, ready to bag on for our teams in the evening, ensuring our students get to eat on the weekends. She is reliable, energetic, and excited to help improve the pantry organization and processes, and often takes on last minute inventory projects to help us in times of need!
