At our August 2025 free LakotaHemp Education Workshop, we found ourselves doing what we love most, being out in community. With our h**p educator Jeremy and new partners from Her Many Voices, we shared knowledge, laughter, and connection. Relatives were served chilidog lunch, and received goodie bags filled with daily h**p vitamin supplements, CBD oil tinctures, and even h**p-infused chocolates!

This is who we are at People of the Confluence an Indigenous-led nonprofit working at the intersection of culture, environment, and community care. We believe in bringing resources directly to the people, centering education, healing, and sustainable futures. Whether it’s h**p workshops, storytelling, youth empowerment, or community partnerships, we show up with open hands and open hearts.

Together, we are planting roots that will nourish generations to come.

Help Us Support Two Local Families in Crisis!
At People of the Confluence, we believe in showing up for each other in times of need. Right now, we are asking our community to come together and help two families who are facing urgent financial challenges:

A family has received a disconnect notice from Snohomish County PUD (Energy Assistance applications are currently closed) and needs $917 to keep their power on.

A family has been served a 10-day notice to comply or vacate due to a $1,064 overdue water/sewer bill. As part of their lease agreement, their utilities must remain current—but financial hardship has made that impossible.

Tne total needed for us to assist: $1,981

Your donation, no matter the size, helps keep the lights on and the water running. It brings hope and relief to families trying to stay housed and safe.

Please consider giving and sharing this post. Together, we can make a difference.

People of the Confluence is a 501(c)3 and donations are tax deductible you can donate via:
