Another incredible school year is in the books, and the Mimosa Park PTO wants to send a huge THANK YOU to our amazing students, families, teachers, staff, and volunteers for helping make this year so special! 💙

From fun events and fundraisers to classroom celebrations and school-wide activities, your support helped create memories that will last a lifetime. We are so grateful to be part of such a wonderful Pelican community!

Now it’s time to trade backpacks for beach towels, homework for adventures, and alarm clocks for a little extra sleep. 😎🍉☀️

🏴‍☠️🗺️ Ahoy, Pelicans! It’s Treasure Hunt Tuesday at MPE! 🗺️🏴‍☠️

We loved kicking off Student Appreciation Week yesterday with Musical Monday and all of the amazing purple, gold, and Tiger pride around campus! 💜💛 Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the first day so much fun!

Today we can’t wait to see all of our explorers, adventurers, and treasure hunters around school! 🧭✨

Students can dress like an explorer today and will also receive:

Last week, Mimosa Park PTO had the privilege of celebrating our incredible teachers, faculty and staff during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week! 💙🌼 We wanted every day to feel special and to remind our faculty and staff just how appreciated they are for all they do for our students and school community.

⛺ Monday – *Camp Mimosa: Where the Best Staff Work!*
We kicked off the week with a fun camp-themed day complete with staff superlatives, our “Happy Camper Lemonade Bar,” and a build-your-own trail mix station! The staff superlatives were printed and punched so they could wear for them rest of the school year. It was the perfect way to start the week with smiles and laughter.

🌮 Tuesday – *Let’s TACO ‘bout Our Amazing Teachers*
Cinco de Mayo inspired a fajita bar lunch where teachers could customize their own meal, along with fun sparkling fruity drinks to enjoy throughout the day. It was such a fun and festive day!

🌸 Wednesday – *Thank You for Helping Little Minds Bloom*
Our PTO cart made its debut as a traveling Teacher Treat Cart! We visited classrooms delivering snacks, drinks, and special gifts to our teachers and staff to brighten their day and bring the appreciation directly to them.

🍩 Thursday – *DONUT Know What We’d Do Without You*
Faculty and staff were treated to a delicious breakfast filled with donuts, muffins, fruit, and drinks! Staff had a blast learning their donut names!

💆 Friday – *You’re Essential to Our School*
We wrapped up the week with a little extra TLC! Teachers and staff received self-care kits and enjoyed a Chick-fil-A lunch.

Throughout the week, daily clues were sent to the faculty and staff for a fun scavenger hunt, ending the week with a few special prizes!

To our amazing teachers and staff: THANK YOU for the love, dedication, patience, and care you give our students every single day. Mimosa Park is so lucky to have each of you! 💛💙

And thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, helped organize, and supported us in making this week such a success for our Pelican staff!

📣 IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR STUDENT APPRECIATION WEEK! 🎶💜💛

We have made a change to Monday’s theme!

🎵 Monday, May 11 will now be “Musical Monday with the Tiger Band!” 🎵

Students are encouraged to wear purple and gold as we celebrate our HHS graduates and show our Tiger pride! 💜💛

We can’t wait to kick off Student Appreciation Week with some fun and excitement for our amazing Pelicans!

Next week, May 4-8th, we are so excited to celebrate the incredible teachers and staff who help our students learn, grow, and bloom every single day! 🌼💛

Our PTO has planned a full week of fun themes, treats, and surprises to show just how much they mean to our school community — and we can’t wait to spoil them a little!

It truly takes a village, and our teachers and staff give so much of themselves to our children every day. Let’s make sure they feel all the love next week! 🌷
