🐊⚜️ St. Charles Parish Rotary Takes on New Orleans! ⚜️🐊

The Rotary Club of St. Charles Parish had a great time at the Rotary Zone Meeting in New Orleans—and of course, we had to bring a little St. Charles Parish flavor with us!

Our crew cooked up Alligator Pastalaya and shared some Louisiana hospitality with our fellow Rotarians. Great food, great fellowship, and a great opportunity to connect with Rotary members from across the region.

This September, Rotarians across District 6840 are coming together to help change that. Through our partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, we're building beds and providing bedding to give children a safe, comfortable place to sleep, dream, and grow. Join us in creating lasting impact!

Every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to sleep. 💙🛏️

The Rotary Club of St. Charles Parish is proud to donate $2,500 to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization dedicated to building and delivering beds to children in need.

Want to help make a difference? A community bed-building project is scheduled for September 19, and volunteers are needed! No special skills are required—just a willingness to lend a hand.

Together, we can help ensure that no child sleeps on the floor in our town.

💲$75,000 for 75 graduates!🎓

The St. Charles Rotary Club Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce today a special one-time total allocation of $25,000 to be given to approximately 50 Interact students graduating this week from Destrehan High School and Hahnville High School! Each student finishing in good standing with Interact will receive $500 to help further their academic or vocational interests!

Interact, often informally referred to as “Rotary for high school students,” brings together students to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of “Service Above Self.”

This special allocation is in addition to the $50,000 already awarded this year by the St. Charles Rotary Club Scholarship Foundation bringing this year’s total impact to $75,000 for 75 students!

All funds are generated by the annual Alligator Festival hosted by the Rotary Club of St. Charles

St. Charles Parish Public Schools
