Leadership matters.
Serving matters.
Excellence matters.

I’m looking forward to pouring into the leaders and ministry workers of EPIC Family Worship Church, equipping, empowering, and strengthening those who serve.

When leaders are equipped to serve with clarity, competence, and excellence, the entire ministry is strengthened.

People. Purpose. Preparation.

Leadership isn't about your title or position. It's about your impact, the difference you make, and what you produce. If you're a leader in ministry, what changes have occurred under your leadership? If you were placed there to elevate the ministry and haven't, what are you really doing?

I’m looking forward to tomorrow! 💜✨

I have the privilege of teaching a session on Intentional Leadership at the House of Esther Ministry One-Day Intensive Leadership Retreat: “Intentional Leadership: You Can’t Lead From Behind.”

Leadership doesn’t happen by accident. Effective leadership requires intention—being purposeful about how we lead, serve, influence, develop, and make an impact.

Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing practical and biblical principles designed to challenge leaders to examine how they lead, why they lead, and what their leadership produces.

📅 Saturday, August 15, 2026
⏰ My Session: 3:00 P.M.
📍 Holiday Inn Metairie
2261 N. Causeway Blvd.
Metairie, LA 70001

If you are a leader—or preparing to become one—there is still time to join us!

Lead with intention. Serve with purpose. Make an impact.

Yesterday, my husband and I celebrated 34 years of marriage. 🥂❤️

While anniversaries are often measured by years, I believe they're really measured by the commitment to keep choosing one another through every season.

Over the past 34 years, we've experienced moments of incredible joy, significant challenges, unexpected transitions, answered prayers, and seasons that required perseverance.

Through it all, I've learned one invaluable lesson:
One of the greatest leadership decisions we ever make isn't simply choosing a career, accepting a promotion, or launching a business. It's choosing the person who will walk beside us through every season of life.

As I reflect on my journey as a wife, mother, nurse, healthcare leader, ministry leader, speaker, and founder, I recognize that none of those accomplishments happened in isolation. Behind every degree earned, every ministry assignment accepted, every late night studying, every speaking engagement, every difficult decision, and every dream pursued was a husband who believed in me, supported me, prayed for me, encouraged me, and often sacrificed alongside me.

Marriage isn't about finding someone who makes life easy. It's about building a life together that's worth fighting for. It's choosing love, extending grace, communicating honestly, forgiving often, and continuing to grow both individually and together.

To anyone walking through a difficult season in your marriage, don't give up too quickly. Some of life's greatest blessings are found on the other side of perseverance, healing, and intentional work.

I'm deeply grateful to God for these 34 years and even more grateful that I get to do life and ministry with my best friend.

"Two are better than one... For if they fall, one will lift up his companion." — Ecclesiastes 4:9–10

Happy Birthday to my Spiritual Father, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr.

I will forever be grateful to God for leading me to Greater St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church in 1988. It was there that my life was transformed, and God connected me to a shepherd whose leadership, wisdom, and example profoundly shaped my spiritual journey.

Bishop Morton has been instrumental in my growth, my walk with God, and my understanding of ministry and servant leadership. His life and legacy continue to impact generations, and I count it an honor and privilege to have served under his leadership.

Happy Birthday, Bishop! Praying God's continued blessings, strength, health, peace, and many more fruitful years. Bishop Paul S. Morton
