🚨 TEEN COURT APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN! 🚨

Do you know a teen entering grades 9th–12th for the upcoming school year who is interested in leadership, public speaking, law, or helping their community? ⚖️

The City of Lufkin Teen Court applications are now live and available! Teen Court gives students the opportunity to build confidence, gain courtroom experience, earn community service hours, and make lifelong friendships while serving their community.

We are excited to welcome both returning and new volunteers for another great school year!

Each and everyone of them brings something special to this program, and Teen Court would not be what it is without their hard work, dedication, and support.

First of all, thank you all for attending our annual banquet. We had such an amazing time, and the evening went by in the blink of an eye — just like this school year.

I am truly appreciative of all of our Teen volunteers, and parents for your continued support and dedication. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!

This second year as a Juvenile Case Manager and Teen court Coordinator has taught me so much more, and I am incredibly thankful for the help and guidance from my co-workers and our Teen Court Judge, Kristi Skillern.

My hope is to continue growing in this role while bringing even more awareness and education to our teens about the Justice System. I am excited to see what the future holds for Teen Court and for all the amazing Teens involved.

I so want to apologize in advance for the pictures that did not come out quite right — we had a few technical difficulties with our phone.
However, I absolutely want to take a moment to recognize all of our seniors for this school year. We are so proud of each and every one for you and cannot wait to see what the future holds.

Our last docket of the school year featured 4 cases, and these teens truly showed out! All cases were completed before 8pm — that’s what being prepared looks like!

A special shout out to Gabriel, who stepped up the same and covered 2 cases for someone who couldn’t be there. That kind of commitment and adaptability speaks volumes!

Also, a huge shoutout to Rani for being prepared, stepping in, and guiding both parts with strong, thoughtful questions. Your leadership did not go unnoticed!

Proud of this group for ending the year strong!

We all ate good this evening with the help of Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers with their Teas and Lemonades!
