Cooks Rodeo Days benefits Behind the Chutes, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by rodeo and western lifestyle enthusiasts from the Lubbock community.

Behind the Chutes works to support and advance rodeo and western culture through community outreach and enrichment, while promoting rodeo, agriculture and the western lifestyle throughout the South Plains.

And a big part of that mission is investing in young people.

Through its events, scholarships and opportunities for youth in agriculture, Behind the Chutes is working to make sure the traditions we value today have a strong next generation ready to carry them forward.
