A big thank you to Children’s Home of Lubbock for hosting Heart Gallery at their golf tournament this month. Every time a gallery goes up in our community, new seeds are planted, awareness is raised, conversations begin, and more people learn about the children and youth in foster care who are waiting for families.

Amarillo, thank you for helping children waiting for families be seen! 🤍

We’re excited to unveil two new permanent Heart Gallery exhibits at Northwest Texas Healthcare System and People’s Federal Credit Union. These displays share the faces and stories of children and teens in foster care who are waiting for adoptive families.

Every exhibit creates another opportunity for someone to stop, learn, ask questions, and even take the first step toward changing a child’s future.

LaKisha is a bright, creative young lady with a heart full of dreams. She loves music, books, art, and gardening, and if you see her with headphones on, there’s a good chance Beyoncé or Trippie Redd is playing.
One day, LaKisha hopes to become a cosmetologist because she enjoys helping others feel confident and beautiful. She also dreams of becoming a mom and creating a home where her children always know they are loved, safe, and cared for.
LaKisha is looking for a family who will encourage her, believe in her, and help her grow into the incredible young woman she is becoming. 💕

Happy Birthday to our Amarillo Area Director, Amy Crowley 🤍🎉

A vanilla latte loving, spreadsheet enthusiast with one of the biggest hearts for children and families you’ll ever meet. Amy is faithful, wise, deeply compassionate, and the kind of person who makes everyone around her feel seen and cared for.

She has poured so much into building Heart Gallery of the Panhandle Plains, and because of her faithfulness and love for this mission, countless kids have been advocated for, celebrated, and connected to a community that cares.

We are so thankful for her friendship, her steady presence, her passion for Amarillo, and the way she serves others wholeheartedly in everything she does.

What a beautiful night celebrating advocacy, community, and children waiting for adoptive families. We are so grateful for every person who showed up, gave generously, and continues to believe that every child deserves to be seen, known, and deeply loved.
