🐾 Meet Carlisle – A Distinguished Gentleman with a Heart of Gold! 🎩❤️

Carlisle is a handsome, distinguished gentleman with a gentle soul and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. ❤️

Life hasn’t always been easy for this sweet boy. Carlisle spent his days living outdoors as a stray, but thankfully, a kindhearted person saw just how special he was and wanted to give him a better life. He tried bringing Carlisle into his home, but unfortunately, his resident cat wasn’t willing to share the space. Sweet, gentle Carlisle never wanted any trouble, so he found his way into the loving care of South Plains SPCA.

Since coming into rescue, Carlisle has discovered the comfort of living indoors and has been a perfect gentleman with his manners. He is now ready to find a forever home where he can finally enjoy being someone’s cherished companion.

Carlisle is a little reserved when meeting new people. He’s the kind of gentleman who prefers to take his time getting acquainted. But give him a little patience, a gentle touch, and perhaps a tasty treat or two (the way to his heart is definitely through his stomach! 😻), and you’ll discover just how incredibly sweet and affectionate he really is.

He loves good food, gentle pets, and the simple pleasure of being loved. Beneath that slightly shy exterior is a tenderhearted boy who truly wants attention and affection—he just needs to know he can trust you first.

💕 Carlisle isn’t asking for much—just a peaceful home, a full belly, gentle hands, and someone who will love him for the rest of his days.

After a life spent outdoors, this distinguished gentleman deserves nothing less than a soft place to land and live an indoor only life with a family to call his own.

Carlisle is available for adoption. His adoption fee will be discussed with the right adoptor. He is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He is neutered and FIV/FELV negative.

Hello…Hello…Hello…
We are the sweetest SEVEN TINY chihuahua mix boys you will ever meet. We are soo happy and playful! We all love to play with each other and toys - so please have lots and lots of toys for your new pup to play with. We were born around 8/12/2026 so we are still young pups learning our basic manners and as we grow we will need lots of patience and training. We also will snuggle with you after a good play session so we can be your snuggle buddy!

🐾 IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PUPPY’S 🐾

South Plains SPCA is passionate about keeping our puppies safe and healthy. Because parvo and distemper are deadly, highly contagious, and prevalent in Lubbock, our puppies do NOT go outside unless they are being constantly held and not letting their feet hit the ground outside your home.

They must also be FULLY vaccinated and sterilized before their adoption is finalized.

Because of this, this litter of boys is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program.

🏡 You MUST live in Lubbock County.

Foster-to-adopt families will sign a contract agreeing to:
• Bring the puppy to SPSPCA for scheduled vaccines
• Take the puppy to the veterinarian when we schedule their neuter
• NOT miss any required appointments

Once the puppy has received all required vaccinations and has been sterilized, the adoption will be finalized. ❤️

💰 Adoption fee: $200
$100 non-refundable fee is due when you begin the foster-to-adopt process.
The remaining $100 is due when the adoption is finalized.

The $200 adoption fee covers vaccines, microchip, and spay/neuter. 🐾

Brindi is a golden/heeler mix girl born approximately 11/1/2021. Brindi is one of the sweetest and most resilient dogs you will ever meet. She was found in horrible condition, living in an abandoned trailer on the outskirts of Lubbock with her doggie companion, Olive. Both were suffering from a severe case of mange at the time they were rescued. With lots of love and the incredible medical care from her vet team both girls not only survived but began to thrive. Brindi is an extremely loving and cuddly dog. Aside from some scars hidden under her beautiful, long fur, you’d never know life was once so hard for her. She loves people and dogs of all sizes. She has not been around children because her foster family doesn’t have any but her demeanor leads me to believe she would be great with kids. She sometimes walks/runs with a slight limp due to an old injury but she doesn’t let it slow her down. She is an incredibly happy dog. Constantly smiling and wanting to please anyone who loves her. She is a calm, sweetheart of a dog who would make such an incredible addition to any family. 💕🐾 Introducing Eleanor! 🐾💕

Some dogs need a little time to learn what it means to be loved. Eleanor is one of those special souls. ❤️

This sweet senior girl was rescued from a rural shelter as soon as we were able to get her out. We don’t know her story or what she’s been through, but we do know that people have let her down along the way.

Eleanor is still figuring out how to be someone’s loved and cherished dog. It took weeks for her to learn to trust her foster, and while she wants to be near her person every minute of the day, she hasn’t quite mastered trusting someone enough to pick her up just yet. Trust is something she gives slowly, and we want to let her do it at her own pace.

What Eleanor needs is a quiet home, a patient heart, and someone willing to teach her that being a spoiled lap dog is actually a pretty wonderful way to live! 🥰

She would do well with another calm dog. She enjoys gentle playtime and seems to appreciate having a peaceful canine companion around.

Eleanor was born approximately 9/15/2016. She recently had a dental cleaning, but unfortunately, many of her teeth had to be removed. She does great with a combination of canned food and small-bite dry food. Currently eats Science Diet /Small & Mini Adult 7+

We aren’t looking for just anyone for Eleanor. We are looking for HER person. Someone who understands that trust takes time, who celebrates the little victories, and who is committed to loving her for the rest of her life.

She has already experienced enough heartbreak. Let’s make sure her next chapter is filled with soft beds, gentle hands, quiet days, and a lifetime of knowing she is HOME. ❤️

Meet Picante! This big, beautiful lady was rescued from an area with coyotes and decided she's done with the outdoors. She gave birth to four lovely kittens and has spent her time since learning how to love her humans.
Picante is the type of cat whose love feels like an incredible life accomplishment. Watching her slowly warm up and trust us has been amazing. She has gone from a terrified feral to a sweet little lady who loves tall scratchers and rubbing against everything, especially legs. She adores being gently scratched on her head and chin. Her affection is slow and gentle, with warm purrs and occasional excited meows when she is really happy to see us.
There is still some anxiety. She is scared of loud noises. Walking near her in shoes freaks her out because it makes footsteps so much louder. Sometimes she flinches and panics if you pet her if she didn't see you reaching for her first. She would not do well with kids or dogs, and while she tolerates cats, her personality goes away and she becomes an under the bed hide away cat.
Picante needs a human who will love her with the same trusting adoration she has for them. Someone who will put her first, who will patiently wait for her to realize her new life is safe, and who will accept she may take a long time to come around to trying sitting or laying next to you. She is patiently waiting for her lifelong companion to find her. Maybe that person is you?
Picante is fully vaccinated, microchiped, and spayed. She is an indoor only cat despite her ear notch. If you'd like to meet her, please email us at [email protected]
