CMA of Texas

CMA of Texas We are a support tool of the independent Texas artist who deserves recognition and encouragement to continue their careers.

The CMA of Texas began back in 1975 when James White (owner of the Broken Spoke in Austin, TX) and his friend and radio personality, Bud Fisher, began to hold recognition events at the Broken Spoke. In 2013, it took on official status with the State of Texas as a non-profit, expanding its reach with only one purpose in mind - to be a support tool of the independent artist who deserves recognition and encouragement to continue his/her artistic endeavor.
