Mike Pritchard's Friends Fest-"It's All About The Music"

07/30/2026

Today’s dedication of the Mike Pritchard mural is a beautiful reminder that one person’s kindness and generosity can leave a lasting impact on an entire community.

Mike believed in investing in people, especially kids, and it’s fitting that his legacy will continue to inspire students for years to come. Thank you to everyone who helped make this tribute possible, and especially to artist Elyse Arnold for donating her talent to create something so meaningful.

Take a moment to read the story and see this incredible tribute to a man who will never be forgotten. ❤️

Local artist Elyse Arnold donated and painted the mural.

Last night, the Friends Fest board got together for our wrap-up meeting after another incredible event—and it was one of those nights that reminded me just how special this group truly is. ❤️

We laughed, we recapped, we celebrated all that was accomplished… and we took a moment to reflect on something much bigger.

This year marks 5 years since we lost Mike. It’s hard to believe how quickly time has passed, but his impact is still felt in every single thing we do. Friends Fest isn’t just an event—it’s a legacy of love, community, and showing up for others the way Mike always did.

Sitting around that table, surrounded by this group, was a reminder that what started in his honor continues to grow and make a difference year after year.

Grateful for this team. Grateful for the mission. And always remembering the reason behind it all. 💙

Because…”It’s all about the music!”
