Last night, the Friends Fest board got together for our wrap-up meeting after another incredible event—and it was one of those nights that reminded me just how special this group truly is. ❤️

We laughed, we recapped, we celebrated all that was accomplished… and we took a moment to reflect on something much bigger.

This year marks 5 years since we lost Mike. It’s hard to believe how quickly time has passed, but his impact is still felt in every single thing we do. Friends Fest isn’t just an event—it’s a legacy of love, community, and showing up for others the way Mike always did.

Sitting around that table, surrounded by this group, was a reminder that what started in his honor continues to grow and make a difference year after year.

Grateful for this team. Grateful for the mission. And always remembering the reason behind it all. 💙
