The resurrection is not a footnote to the Christian life. It is the headline. It is the reason we gather, the reason we pray, and the reason we have hope when life gets hard. When your circumstances feel shaky, the resurrection is the ground beneath your feet that does not move.

What Are You Waiting For?

We know how the story ends.

Jesus Christ is reigning. His enemies will be defeated. Death itself will be destroyed. And one day, Jesus will return, raise His people, and bring all things under His perfect rule. The victory is already secured - the King is coming.

But what do we do while we wait?

This Sunday's passage pulls back the curtain on the grand finale of God’s redemptive plan. It doesn’t answer every question we might have about the end - but it gives us something far more important: the certainty that Christ wins, Christ reigns, and Christ is coming again.

So if that is where history is headed, what are you waiting for?

Don’t waste your life waiting for something this world can never give you. Live today in light of the day when Jesus makes all things new.

If Christ didn't rise from the dead, everything would fall apart. Paul reminds us that our hope isn't just for comfort today—it's for eternal life. The resurrection isn't optional theology; it's the foundation of everything. Do you believe it? Are you living like it?
