14 days!! That's right the Fishing Tournament at The Outdoor Life Lodge is 2 weeks from today. From now till then we will be previewing the day's activities. So far 18 vendors selling their craft. Fishing, food trucks, pony rides, DJ Dolla Bill, face painting, kids games, chicken p**p bingo, chinese auction, swag tent & fishing demos. It's gonna be a great day to honor Justin. You don't want to miss it!

AKV Back the Blue was honored to attend the Vandergrift Borough Council meeting on Monday to present a $2000.00 check to the Vandergrift Police Department! Vandergrift PD is our newest beneficiary department, and we are so glad to welcome them to the AKV Back the Blue family! The addition of Vandergrift PD brings us to a total of 7 Alle-Kiski police department beneficiaries in addition to Tunnels to Towers. This is why we do what we do, and why your support of AKV Back the Blue is so important!!!

In honor of all who have fallen while protecting their communities. We will never forget.

Our Commonwealth will mark National Police Week from May 10-16, and Peace Officers Memorial Day on Friday, May 15.

First established by President John F. Kennedy in 1962, the designations pay tribute to the brave local, state and federal peace officers who have died or been disabled in the line of duty.

We are blessed by the men and women who have taken an oath to serve and protect, and particularly by those who have sacrificed their lives to protect public safety. Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve.
