The smiles speak volumes. Gratitude. ❤️

Medical supplies and equipment from SOS were recently delivered to healthcare facilities in northern Malawi, including a hospital where a much-needed dental chair was met with tremendous appreciation.

Donated supplies are also supporting ongoing wastewater research through the Christina Lee Brown Envirome Institute at University of Louisville/ University of Louisville School of Medicine and strengthening the continued Louisville–Malawi connection.

This is the power of giving surplus medical supplies a second life. 🌎❤️

Medical supplies that would go unused are helping the Kentucky Humane Society provide critical care to animals in need. 🐾❤️

Take Duke, a 1-year-old Basset Hound who arrived with three broken legs. The gauze and cotton roll provided by SOS helped KHS frequently change and maintain his bandages as he healed.

Other donated supplies are helping KHS provide vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries and intensive treatment to animals battling serious illnesses like parvo.

These are just a few examples of how your donations to SOS help turn surplus medical supplies into second chances—not only for people, but for animals, too.

On the way to Colombia. 🇨🇴❤️

When communities need help, getting the right supplies to the people who need them is what matters.

We recently sent more than $30,000 worth of mobility equipment and orthopedic supplies to communities in Colombia impacted by the earthquake. Working with Luisa from Colombian Alliance, who helped identify the needs and connect us with the shipping partner, our team was able to assemble the shipment within a few days.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this rapid response possible—and proud to put surplus medical resources to work where they’re needed most.

A great first clinic in Owensboro! ❤️♿️

SOS brought its free Wheelchair & Mobility Aid Clinic to Owensboro for the first time on Saturday, serving 12 individuals in need with repairs, cleaning, safety assessments and maintenance for wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility equipment.

We’re grateful to Owensboro Health for making the clinic possible and to Audubon Area Community Care Clinic for helping bring this important resource to the community.

Together, we’re helping people maintain their independence, stay connected and keep moving forward. ❤️

🌍 Medical supplies from SOS are helping strengthen maternal health care in Sierra Leone!

SOS provided 132 pounds of essential medical supplies to a team traveling to Sierra Leone, including blood pressure cuffs, needles, syringes, IV supplies, PPE, medical instruments and more.

The supplies were used at a School of Midwifery as part of a maternal health mission focused on training and equipping midwives.

The team worked to strengthen the skills of 50 midwives - improving care for mothers and newborns and potentially impacting thousands of women across Sierra Leone.

We’re proud to help put essential medical supplies where they can make a lasting difference. ❤️

Two Dupont Manual High School students are turning creativity into community impact! 🌸❤️

They’re making and selling beautiful handmade flowers at local farmers markets to raise money to purchase much-needed first aid supplies for SOS.

Partnerships make more impact possible! ❤️

We were happy to welcome Antonio Booker, Chief Clinical Officer, Jessica Bland, Community Outreach Manager, and the Hometown Connect Louisville West team to SOS recently. Their team came to pick up two essential pieces of medical equipment they had requested—a patient scale and vital signs monitor—that will help support the individuals they serve.

We’re honored to be a resource for helping get surplus medical equipment where it’s needed most.
