This Past weekend, our Operation Keep Moving Forward Peer Group (OP KMF), had its last trip of the year hosted by our good friends at Finding Purpose Outdoors Foundation, at the amazing Atlanta State park. This was a day of relaxing by the lake, fishing, hiking, horse shoes and just good old fashioned Veteran Comradery.
It was very fitting that this was our last and biggest trip of the year.
In the 2 years since we founded OP KMF, we have signed up over 70 Veterans, assisted 100s of Veterans, embarked on over 30 amazing trips like this one.
Sweated at APEC gym with over 60 free workouts for our Veteran sponsoredby Adaptive Foundation by APEC .
And the best stat of them all, thanks to OP KMF, countless friendships and bonds were created. One Veteran said " I met 4 of my now best friends at these trips"
We are extremely thankful to our amazing staff at ETVRC for the support, equally thankful for the oversight given by Community Healthcore. And our countless partner organizations.

Operation True North is hosting their community preview of their brand new Veteran Resource Hub.

On May 30, 2026, Counting Stars Ranch hosted the Family Ruck promoting Veteran and First Responders Su***de Prevention at Abney Park in Gilmer.

It was a great turn out! Participants filled their ruck sacks with canned goods to donate to local food pantries.

The ruck march was 5 miles and afterwards Mission 22 provided a great lunch!!

I had a great time at Joint Forces Wrestling 3: Rumble in Title Town!! They celebrated and honored the Veterans of East Texas!
There were non profit organizations set up with information to assist and support Veterans...

They began with a Vietnam Veterans Pinning Ceremony to honor our Veterans who did not get a proper welcome home...

100% of proceeds went to the Panola County Texas Veterans Relief Fund...

The wrestling portion was awesome!! It was ended with 30 wrestlers in the ring!!

We have the best trainers for our Veterans. These dedicated coach's don't just prepare amazing workouts, with amazing motivational quotes. These coach's also modify these workouts to fit any and all Veterans health concerns.
To thank our wonderful coach's they were given East Texas Veterans Resource Centers ETVRC amazing new Vet Tshirt.
And coach Jude had mentioned If we got her ears, she would wear at next workout in August. If want to see that, come on out.

Operation Keep Moving Forward is moving forward as always. Veterans from this amazing Peer Group formed a bowling team for league play. Veterans being together and having a great time these past few weeks, while few of us continue to learn to bowl ha.
