๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
From Amanda Tornberg, GB Program Director
Recently I was working on a lesson about the masks we wear. In an attempt to cover our shame, we wear masks of anger, control, people-pleasing, isolation, perfectionism, relationships, work, humor, busyness, food, money, achievement... the list could go on and on.
No matter the mask, the purpose for it is the same. We want to protect ourselves, avoid our pain, and control what others see. But the reality is that all our attempts only add to our brokenness and shame.
But thereโs good news! Now, because of the grace of God in Christ, we no longer have a need for masks.

Thereโs no longer a need to convince God and others that we are better than we are. If you struggle accepting His love for you, pray and ask the Lord to reveal it to you today so you can start dropping the masks!
