AUGUST GREEN DAY ✅

Our board put in the sweatequity today 🥵 as we collected 29 bags of trash, cardboard boxes, and plastic signs from the tree line at Walmart on 4th Street and the Loop in Longview!

It’s also the last GREEN DAY for our wonderful summer intern carlisle🌻 before she heads back to college—we will miss her!!

Huge shoutout to Chick-fil-A East & West Longview for fueling these HUMANS with chicken biscuits!!

Again, huge thanks to all our volunteers and community partners who helped us make this years social media campaign such a HUGE success!

Together, we picked up 17,285 pieces of litter across the whole month of May, contributing $10,199.59 in economic value to our beloved city!

BRINGING THE BIG GUNS! 💪🚛

For our board’s July GREEN DAY, we tackled a notorious illegal dumpsite on Ivory Lane!

With a little help from the bulky truck, we cleared out some serious blight.

The July Stats:
🚛 3.81 TONS of bulk trash cleared
🛞 23 Tires off the streets
📺 Furniture, old TVs, & industrial drums removed
💰 $717.30 in volunteer labor value given back to our city

It was hot, heavy work, but these amazing folks showed up and showed out to keep our community safe and clean🧤🌳✨
