East Texans: meet your candidate for TX state Senate.

Her opponent, incumbent Bryan Hughes, has voted for:

🤦‍♀️school vouchers.

Voted for a near universal ban on abortion.

Voted in 2025 to gerrymander voting districts to suppress minority voters. Basically by redrawing voting maps, they were choosing their voters- not voters choosing their politicians/representatives. Extremely rare to redraw district mid decade. This was initiated from a direct request from Trump for Texas to find 5 more Republican seats.

Mandatory posting of 10 commandments in every public school classroom.

He has advocated for data centers- with big tax incentives (data centers not paying same taxes (or taxes at all) that small business owners pay.

On his watch Texas public schools have declined, teacher pay is not at par with the rest of the USA. And state public education funding per student is around 60% of the AVERAGE in USA.

Tx healthcare is ranked last in USA.

Tx law enforcement cooperating with 🧊 crushing due process and dignity.

Voting to make h**p products illegal.

Texas legislatures control Texas laws and budget. They work in Austin. They help decide tax rates and what gets funded. Schools, roads, healthcare, SNAP benefits, agriculture, law enforcement, jails, regulate oil industry, transportation infrastructure, energy and environmental concerns, mental health etc.

Don’t sit out the vote on Nov 3rd. Let your vote be heard. If you think Texas can be better, then vote for better!

If Abbott is serious about limiting Data Centers🤔😂 then he should have TX legislature pass LAWS. Abbott got his special session last year to redistricting, redraw and gerrymander at the whims of a single request from one man… then Abbott has the ability to listen to the PEOPLE of Texas, we are BIG MAD. Yes, there is time for Republicans to prove if they are more than talking points on DATA centers… don’t believe the talk. They have the power.
