Latinos In Action California ofrece talleres enfocados en la educacion, uno de los talleres es Conocer Como funciona el Sistema Educativo, Y todas las cuestiones relacionadas con la educacion, motivando a los padres/madres sobre su participacion activa en la vida academica

de sus estudiantes y sean parte de los diferentes comites en Los Distritos Escolares. Una de las oportunidades es participar en el grupo La Red de Padres en Action (Parent Action Network) Presentando Series de Talleres, dirigidos por Embajadoras de Educacion de LIA. Latino Leadership is a 4-month interactive program, with more than 60 hours of teaching. A unique program that focuses first on the self, fundamentally on emotional and psychological empowerment, helping to create resilience and the ability to recover to integrate into society. The next step is focused on the development of the Leader, creating in them awareness, inspiration and motivation to commit to action for change, fostering in them the desire to organize, promote justice and equity in the communities, mainly in the academic education of the students. Tambien tenemos YES-LB Youth Empowered Summit, Latinos in Action began implementing the Youth Empowerment Summit (YES-LB) program in Long Beach, aiming to address the opportunity gaps. The program provides critical training and education in leadership, civic engagement, and 21st-century skills. What is more, YES-LB engages youth in social justice discussions on topics such as justice and equity, so that they are conscious of the disparities in society and feel empowered to create meaningful impact.
