Promoting youth equality & financial growth.

Our mission is to create invaluable resources that inspire passion and purpose in disadvantaged youth (ages 14-24) within marginalized communities. Through social innovation and equitable access to financial and health literacy, we equip disadvantaged youth with life skill training, mentorship guidance, and enrichment opportunities that promote healthy social and intellectual development - we care

, share, we change. Our purpose is to inspire disadvantaged youth to act in making entrepreneurial and career dreams a reality. We embody an inclusive and nurturing corporate culture with unique youth employment opportunities that provide occupational skills and entrepreneurial mindset development. Youth embark on our collective journey and commit to volunteerism to impact positive social change through our programs and initiatives and gain access to financial equity and community resources. We prepare disadvantaged youth with tactics on managing money and saving while developing a plan for building a career and connections to jobs with mentoring opportunities to help get there. We endeavor to share knowledge, recognize talent, enrich skills, and empower the next generation of disadvantaged entrepreneurs (ages 14-24) to reach their full potential and learn from others. Social innovation can flourish only through promoting knowledge and developing youth leadership skills.

Twelve months. New rooms. New risks. New wins.
Every month brought something we’d never done before, and somehow, the youth showed us how to do it better.

We built spaces where young people could create, earn, heal, and lead.

We turned ideas into programs, programs into paychecks, and paychecks into confidence.

We showed up for community, and community showed up right back.

This year wasn’t about perfection.
It was about presence.
About listening to youth.
About trusting lived experience over polished plans.
About choosing people every time.

OGC is growing. But more importantly, our youth are growing.
And that’s the whole point.

Grateful. Grounded. Ready for what’s next.
2025: we’re coming with receipts. 💥

Long Beach feels its strongest when our leaders show up with heart and stay rooted in the community. Last night was one of those moments; standing in a room filled with love, culture, and possibility alongside Mayor Rex Richardson and Councilwoman Mary Zendejas.

Both continue to invest in District 1 and the people who make this city vibrant. Watching them speak about their shared vision for a thriving Long Beach reminded me why local leadership matters so much! When our neighborhoods rise, our families rise, and our youth see what’s possible.

Grateful to witness leaders who prioritize connection, listen deeply, and honor the community they serve. Long Beach grows when we grow together. And nights like this make OGC hopeful for everything this city can be.

✨Holiday Garage Sale — Calling In the Community✨

Our Holiday Garage Sale is right around the corner, and we’re turning the OGC Garage into a cozy little winter pop-up for the community.

Expect:

❄️ A snowflake-making table for the kids
🎶 Holiday music
🛍️ Low-cost finds for every family
❤️ A space built on joy, justice, and showing up for our youth

Every dollar raised supports youth stipends and programs that keep our young people learning, growing, and stepping into their power.

OGC’s OG Life University is officially a DMV-certified Driver’s Ed School!

In a city where opportunity can feel out of reach without a car or a license, we’re making sure our community has what it needs to move — toward employment, toward education, toward stability, toward their own future.

This program was built with the community, not dropped on top of it.

From young people shaping the vision, to partners bringing resources and expertise, to neighbors cheering us on — this certification is a shared win 🎉

We’re teaching mobility.
We’re teaching confidence.
And with Greenlight LB, we’re teaching responsible, community-first driving — because safety isn’t an afterthought, it’s the curriculum.

Today felt like Long Beach at its best.

OGC teamed up with and together we put 20 turkeys directly into the hands of families who needed them — no hoops, no judgment, just love, dignity, and community care.

This is the kind of collaboration we live for: youth, organizers, small businesses, and neighbors all showing up for each other because we know what it feels like to go without… and we refuse to let our people stand alone.

Huge thank you to El Viejon for having us be a part of this, opening their doors, and pouring back into the city that raised us.

And thank you to every family who came through — you’re the reason we do this.

Our friends at are blessing the community with 20 free turkeys, and OGC is rolling up with the people power to make sure they reach the folks who need them most.
