Don't let this adorable face fool you! This tiny spitfire has certainly taken everyone for a ride since joining WISH a couple of weeks ago, hence her name YeeHaw!!! 🤠
YeeHaw is a little tornado of a hot mess express, and we will spare you all of her photos leading up to this moment - allowing you to just imagine 1.5lbs of not-so-white fluff covered in snot, drool, and p**p!
YeeHaw's wild ride has included not 1, not 2, but 3 procedures for a re**al prolapse as well as coming down with a severe upper respiratory infection from Calici virus (psa - make sure your cats are up to date on their FVRCP vaccines!). It has taken multiple antibiotics, antivirals, nebulizer treatments, stool softeners, probiotics, immune support supplements, blood, sweat, tears, a 3 day personal stay at one of our veterinarians houses, and she rang in Memorial Day morning by thanking her veterinarian for the 3 days stay with offering the opportunity of a private after hours surgical repair in clinic with our president assisting!
She is now FINALLY big enough and healthy enough to have full surgical repair on Monday so that no one else has to wake up to find her with intestines misplaced again. While this has been a "fun" ride for all - it has also been quite costly - with costs already totalling over $1000. While she's worth it, We could definitely use some sponsors to help us cover her expenses so we can continue saving those who need us most.
