Wish Upon A Rescue Adopt. Foster. Volunteer. Donate. Educate. We believe that all animals deserve a second chance at life regardless of breed, age, or physical ability.

Wish Upon a Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit Illinois based animal rescue focused on saving the lives of homeless animals while providing the community with extensive education, outreach, and support. We believe in going above and beyond the status quo of rescue and are committed to providing innovative care and support for our animals physical and emotional health. 🎂🐾 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STEPHANIE! 🐾🎂

Today we’re celebrating the heart behind so many of WISH’s second chances. ❤️ (and $5 Friday in the hopes we help her reach her donation goal!)

Stephanie has dedicated so much of her life to saving animals—especially the ones who are overlooked, forgotten, or left behind. She fights for the animals who need someone to believe in them, and she never stops showing up for them.

Her heart is truly one of a kind. She gives so much of herself to animals who may never be able to thank her, simply because she believes every animal deserves a chance.

So today, we hope Stephanie feels just how loved and appreciated she is—not only by the people who know her, but by the countless animals whose lives are better because she chose to fight for them. 🐾❤️

Sweet, affectionate, and full of love, Addie adores her foster family, plays wonderfully with children and furry siblings, and never misses a chance for food or cuddles! 🥰

Addie has a small hole in her heart that could likely heal as she grows. While there are no guarantees, she’s currently healthy and requires no medication.
