This past Sunday, the Village of Homer Glen presented our family and Tristian Grabner’s family with the unveiling of a beautiful new mural at the Homer Glen complex fields to forever honor them and keep their memories alive❤️
A few incredibly special thank yous:
- To artist Gary Pierson: Thank you for pouring so much heart and effort into this piece. Gary has created truly amazing art to support us over the past few years, and his artistry has made such a massive difference in how we honor and remember Connor’s life.
- To Mayor Christina Neitzke-Troike & the Village of Homer Glen: Thank you for the beautiful presentation and all your hard work organizing this remembrance. This community’s support means everything to us🤍
To top an already emotional day off, we were surprised by White Sox legend Ozzie Guillen, who even spoke about the mural on the pre- and post-game shows later that day!
Connor was a HUGE White Sox fan, so we know he is absolutely smiling down on this one. Thank you to everyone involved, we are so incredibly grateful for you all!

🎓 Congratulations to our 2026 CC2 Forever Memorial Scholarship recipients, Joseph Szarzynski and Jakub Sadowski! 🩵
Two incredible LTHS seniors who embody everything Connor stood for: kindness, humility, leadership, and the courage to serve others. Each recipient will receive $2,500 to help fuel their next chapter.
Connor’s spirit lives on through young people like these two. We are so proud of you both!💙

We are getting ready for the Strike Out Cancer tournament, and we need your help! 🐻⚾️🥎

Strike Out Cancer Tournament: Saturday, May 16th at LTHS Flink Field. This event is truly one of our favorite days of the year, and we can’t wait to see everyone there!

How You Can Help:

Donate Auction Items: We are gratefully accepting donations for our May 16th event until May 1st. Some examples needed include gift cards, sports memorabilia, vacation packages, tech gadgets, and themed baskets. Any and all donated items are so helpful to our cause! ❤️

Become a Sponsor: Local businesses can join us at levels ranging from $250 (Single) to $1,000 (Home Run). Sponsors receive visibility on event banners and our website.
