Lockport Woman’s Club was honored to host the district 11/12 meeting on Saturday, October 17th. Thanks to the City of Lockport and Deputy City Clerk Kimberly Bell for allowing us to use the lovely atrium as our venue for our gathering. This was an opportunity to share our common visions and the exponential impact of women working together. These meetings are also a time for socializing and enjoying a delicious meal. It was a ‘sweet’ way to share a part of Sweetest Day.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported the Lockport Woman’s Club "Bags of Hope" project! Because of your collective generosity, we successfully assembled and delivered 200 comfort bags to the Will County Children's Advocacy Center to bring hope, comfort, and healing to local children.
A special, heartfelt shoutout goes to:
• Catholic Council of Women
• 💙 Give Something Back: For their phenomenal community partnership and incredible generosity in matching monetary donations dollar-for-dollar.
• 🖍️ The Amazon Wish List Purchasers: For purchasing the curated comfort items, activities, and snacks that filled each and every bag.
*Please forgive us if we missed your name.
• EXTRA Thank you to the folks that dropped off at our drop off sites! Or if you donated ANONYMOUSLY.
• 🤝 Our Dedicated Volunteers: For showing up on "Build Bags Day" to pack the bags and write uplifting, handwritten messages of encouragement.
We also want to express our gratitude to local partners like Swag King LLC. This massive member and community effort proves that we truly are stronger together.
