We are so proud that the history of the Lockport Woman’s Club is being preserved at Lewis University for generations to come. Since 1902, the women of LWC have been making a difference in our community, and we’re honored to see that legacy preserved and celebrated.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Give Something Back, monetary donations to Bags of Hope are being matched dollar for dollar! That means your $100 became $200, your $250 became $500, your $500 became $1,000…every gift is making twice the impact for the children and teens served by the Will County Children's Advocacy Center
And we’re not finished yet! There is still time to donate and help us reach our goal of creating 200 Bags of Hope. Every dollar helps us fill these bags with items chosen especially for the children and teens who will receive them.

Today, members of the Lockport Woman's Club and Give Something Back had the profound honor of touring the Will County Children's Advocacy Center (CAC). We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jaclyn Lundquist and Lisa Morel Las for welcoming us and sharing the incredible, vital work being done inside these walls.Established in 1995 by Will County State’s Attorney James W. Glasgow, the CAC was created to improve the integrity of child abuse investigations while providing a safe haven of hope, healing, and justice for children and their families.The Lockport Woman's Club and Give Something Back are deeply honored to support the CAC's mission through our Bags of Hope initiative.
To everyone at the CAC: thank you for your unwavering dedication to protecting and restoring the lives of children in our community. You are true community heroes. 🕊️✨

The Imagination Library of Will County has experienced a surge in enrollment after the death of its legendary founder: "This program has already made a significant impact in the lives of children around Will County, living up to Dolly’s vision that 'You can never get enough books into the hands of enough children.'"

❤️ LTHS NEEDS VOLUNTEERS! ❤️
Young Hearts for Life is coming to Lockport Township High School on Thursday, September 10, and volunteers are needed to help provide free cardiac screenings for students.
🙋‍♀️ A variety of volunteer positions are available, including seated positions, so there is a place for everyone!
The Lockport Woman’s Club is proud to help spread the word and support this important program for our students and community. 💙

The Lockport Woman's Club was truly honored to be featured in the Lockport Area Genealogical and Historical Society (LAGHS) meeting program today! Kudos to our very own, Ann Hintze and Kathy McDermott for their fabulous presentations on the past, present and future of our club! Thank you to LAGHS for hosting this amazing presentation. What a great turn out! Congrat to Kim Bell our door prize winner! Extra special thanks to the LWC history committee for all their contributions to this presentation and always!
