This Saturday, let us celebrate and be together!

All are welcome to bring a dish to share. We continue our ornament hanging tradition--bring a handmade ornament to hang, or come make one at the event.

4pm: Annual Members Meeting-- we invite as many members to join as possible!
5pm: Candlelit Walk
6pm: Dinner
7pm: Ornament hanging and storytelling

Non-paid members are welcome to celebrate with us for a $10 donation to support MSF's work in 2026. Volunteers and paid members are welcome at no cost. Please RSVP by tomorrow with the number of people coming to [email protected].

This gathering is a celebration of the community we build, by the work we do.

Please RSVP by December 4, 2025 to [email protected] to let us know you are coming and how many are coming with you. We must have an accurate count to prepare the right amount of food.

Please also bring a side dish or desert to share. One of your favorite recipes would be tasty for all. The main course meal will be provided along with hot water for tea and coffee. Feel free to bring a non-alcoholic drink for yourself.

-The Annual Members Meeting will be held at 4pm
-This will be followed by a candlelit walk at 5pm, and a 6pm dinner and fellowship
-At 7pm, we will take turns decorating the Christmas tree with your special ornament. Bring your own handmade ornament or borrow one of ours. We will take turns sharing the special meaning of each ornament and then hang them on our tree. The tree will stay decorated until after the holidays, on display at the Nature Center.

This year we will hold a raffle, so bring cash to spend and have fun bidding.

This event is free and open to all 2025 Midwest SOARRING volunteers and current members.

Memberships can be renewed at the event. You can also renew online at https://www.midwestsoarring.org/joinup.php. No cost to paid members and volunteers, otherwise $10 per person. This is a drug and alcohol free event.

Join us at the Orland Park Public Library tonight!

Tonight! In commemoration of Native American Heritage Month, we are hosting a ceremony to present the library’s Land Acknowledgment. This event will feature indigenous artists, musicians, performers, and a tasting of regional cuisine.

Join us for an evening of reflection and celebration. No registration required.

6 p.m. – Second Floor of the Library - View art and beadwork created by Indigenous artists
