On June 9th UNICO Member had an open house for a fundraiser Event Night called Shop For A Cause which ran through July 9th at her business in town called Sitting Pretty Intimates. With 20% of final sales of all who mentioned UNICO would be donated to Livingston UNICO for High School Scholarships and Local Charities. Top photo was the opening night. Bottom left photo was after the sale ended where Christine presented her 20% proceeds to the President of the Livingston Chapter. Bottom Right on behalf of the Board of Directors and President of the Livingston Chapter Christine was recognized and awarded a Community Service Award plaque for her steadfast support, generosity, and commitment to the mission of Livingston UNICO.

Livingston UNICO Awarded its UNICAN of the Year Award on Wednesday evening, June 14th a bit later than its usual scheduled date this year due to unforeseen circumstances to a very deserving and outstanding member that has shown the highest level of “Service Above Self” the UNICO motto that has served Livingston UNICO for over ten years Michael Solfi is a member, a board member, and has served the community in many different roles as and not as a UNICO member. 
Michael Stolfi was Honored with the UNICAN of the Year Award by District Governor Maria Brush not in attendance, Certificate of Appreciation by Chapter President Pat Campanile, Resolution from the NJ State Senate and member 27th District Assemblywoman Rosy Bagolie Presented by her husband P*P of Passaic/Clifton Chapter of UNICO Rickey Bagolie and last but not least by member Councilman Michael Viera and the Livingston Township Council not present. Chapter President Presented all Awards of non present presenters in their absence to Michael Stolfi. Don’t forget that tomorrow is the last day for Sitting Pretty’s Shop for a Cause with 20% of your total shopping cost will be donated to Livingston UNICO for High School Scholarships and Community Charities. So please go out and do your last minute shopping or purchase a gift card for that special someone and don’t forget to mention UNICO.
