Today's the LAST DAY to drop off donations for our School Supply Drive!

Thank you to everyone who has collected, donated, and helped us prepare students across New Jersey for the school year ahead. We also want to give a special shoutout to Lithia Motors for the largest donation in Jersey Cares School Supply Drive history - 1,600 fully packed backpacks! Thank you for your support!

Even with all those backpacks, backpacks remain our #1 needed item and we are currently completely out! If you'd still like to donate, you can shop our Amazon Wish List and have backpacks shipped directly to Jersey Cares.

Twenty-five years later, we remember those we lost and honor the countless people who stepped forward to help one another in the days that followed September 11, 2001.

As we mark this important anniversary, we invite you to join us in carrying that spirit of service forward through our 9/11 National Day of Service & Remembrance events in partnership with 9/11 Day and AmeriCorps.

Volunteers are invited to assemble First Responder Kits, create cards of appreciation, and help maintain Liberty State Park. Each project offers a meaningful way to spend part of the day caring for our communities.

There are many ways to honor September 11 and we hope you'll consider making service one of them. 💙

There's just ONE WEEK LEFT to donate to this year's School Supply Drive!

We still have thousands of students to support and are especially in need of backpacks, folders, pens, pencils, and pencil cases to help complete their back-to-school lists.

Planning to drop off donations? All drop-offs at our Livingston office are by appointment only, so if you haven't scheduled yours yet, please take a look at our available appointments today. All supplies must be received by August 19.

You can also shop our nearly-cleared Amazon Wish List and have supplies shipped directly to Jersey Cares, or sign up to volunteer as we sort donations and pack backpacks over the coming days.

Want to volunteer, but have a hard time finding opportunities that fit around work or school? Join us for an evening project in Princeton supporting Embrella's The Bag Project, which provides welcome, activity, and school bags to children and youth facing a transition or crisis.

Volunteers will help sort and organize the donations that make these bags possible. We encourage you to sign up, bring a friend, and help us fill some much-needed volunteer spots!

School supplies are arriving every day, and now we need your help! 📚✏️

Over the next two weeks, we'll be sorting donations and packing backpacks for students across New Jersey and we'd love for you to join us.
